Itβs been almost a year since one of my poems got published anywhere. Iβm elated to share A Mosaic of Trinkets, a poem I wrote for Londemereβs issue 03: iridescence. I loved the theme and their motto of publishing the intangible and knew I had to submit.
The poem is a concrete poem and is supposed to represent a mosaic painting. Each segment represents individual pieces of stained glass and are stuck together, leaving white spaces (gaps or cracks) in between them.
The poem reads in multiple waysβthe traditional horizontal reading, vertically followed by jumps to the next horizontal segment, and a third coalescence. For fear of giving an over-explanation, Iβll stop here and leave you with the poem:
If you have any thoughts on this poem, Iβd love to know : )

The thing I loved the most was the possibility to play with different reading orders!
Almost creating new mosaics of the pieces you offered.
Gorgeous! Brilliant! I love it! ππΌπ«ΆπΌ
